We tailor our approach to each assignment we undertake as no two clients are the same. However, there are some common features to the way we work:

Initial meetings – we are always pleased to meet and talk about a potential project, or simply discuss issues or problems. The more we understand about your situation the clearer any solution will be.

Written proposal – for every possible project we produce a written document summarising what we learnt and how we believe we can help. This ensures we start work with shared objectives and agreed outcomes.

Fees - Before starting work we ensure clear costs have been agreed. We do not have a set fee for our work or a fixed method of charging. We expect to be able to discuss what you need to achieve, by when and the budget you have available. We consider such factors as the complexity, value and duration of the work involved. We are also flexible in the way in which we charge clients and are happy to discuss alternative charging methods that are appropriate for you.

Assignment – Our style of work is determined by the needs of each project. We are happy to work on-site at your offices or off-site at ours. We have a residential centre, set in the heart of the Peak District which is ideal for getting small groups away from the office. We conclude our work with a closing meeting to confirm all the original objectives have been met.

Our approach to working with our clients is to build a clear understanding of their needs and issues and to design appropriate interventions and programmes in partnership. We believe in the value of working with teams on real-life business issues, and of building a long-term responsive and responsible relationships. We use both indoor and outdoor environments for leadership and teambuilding programmes to enhance the vividness of the learning and to develop individuals' awareness of their own internal and external environments.

We use a variety of techniques that include coaching, facilitation, challenge, experiential learning and bespoke workshops. In addition we draw upon a range of psychometric questionnaires, 360-degree feedback analysis, and behavioural observation to provide data on team and organisational culture and to open new opportunities for learning for individuals

We believe that organisations and communities can and should be brought together for mutual benefit and learning. We are experts in the integration of learning and development with Corporate Social Responsibility, as a model for inspiring positive change in the world.
